Public Access Defibrillators

Public Access Defibrillators (PADs) are an emergency life saving device for use in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest. East Neuk First Responders have been working with local community councils to find and install PADs in the East Neuk villages. These machines provide a vital link in the chain of survival and will give anyone suffering from a sudden cardiac arrest in the East Neuk of Fife the best possible chance of survival.

PADs are designed to be used by members of the public who have no previous training vocal instructions are provided. You can also see our "How to use a PAD" section for guidance.

To view the locations of PADs in the East Neuk of Fife, click HERE or download the GoodSAM Alerter app, which will show the PADs locally available to you.
