Judge's comments

Other comments

Stuart Ballantyne, Community Defibrillation Officer Scottish Ambulance Service :

'East Neuk First Responders have a reputation for delivering a first class service in terms of patient care which you did again earlier this evening when the duty crew attended a cardiac arrest in nearby Crail and successfully resuscitated the patient using your AED - well done. Your public access defibrillator project has been the leading example of 'how to do it properly' in Scotland, with 37 now in place. So many other first responder schemes and other organisations have benefited from your knowledge and practical experience, as have patients. This award is well deserved, well done'

Trossachs Search and Rescue

Your commitment to First Responders is amazing. Your commitment to your local community is outstanding. This award is well deserved, congratulations from us.

Saline First Responders

Thanks you for all your support with advice and help in placing our own three public access defibrillators. Without your continuing support we would find the whole thing impossible.

Perth First Responders

Congratulations - keep up the excellent work.

Dunblane First Responders

It should've been us - we wis robbed! Well done East Neuk.
