East Neuk First Responders is a local Community Resuscitation Charity made up of trained local volunteer Community First Responders and support staff.
First Responders are trained and certified with an IHCD First Person on Scene qualification
All Responders must undergo an interview process and complete a PVG (Protection of Vulnerable Groups) check.
The Community First Responder is someone aged 18 and 70 who is physically fit and holds a full driving licence.
Training is regulated by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The group is co-ordinated and organised locally by the Management Committee. Support staff are an essential part of the group providing vital administration and fundraising support.
